2003 Gretsch 6120-60
Here's a pic of my 6120-60 sporting her new pickups. I have a Classic in the neck, and a Classic Plus in the bridge. I HEARTILLY recommend this combo. I replaced the Bigsby handle with the Duanne Eddy style, and I like it waaaaay better. My 6120 now breathes FIRE!!!!! :D

Yup; that's a real Gem alright! ....looking forward to a set of Classics myself here in the next few weeks!

Sweet!....Whatcha putting your Classics in?

Will be putting the Classics in a 5120. I had considered the Classic Plus in the bridge position, but with the bridge pup a bit closer to the neck pup than on the 6120, and the tone pot harness rather than the mud switch, a pair of Classics "may" work better for me. I had listened to some sound clips of a Magnatron and a Classic Plus and was blown away! So yup; the Plus sounds great indeed! I'm forever locked in 1958; so I've luckily got the old style Bigsby on my 5120 as well, and if I ever decide to swap out the "licenced" version with the real thing, I'm sure I'll stick with the old design. 8)
