A bit of a vintage/modern oddball.
The is an early 90's steinberger guitar that I have owned for a while. Currently has a TV Jones TV-Tron Classic in the bridge and a Duncan Lipstick tube in the neck position. It has a "glassy" clean tone. A bizarre combination of high-tech and vintage that actually works pretty well together.

It is a Roland GK-2A pickup, for use with their guitar synths, or the VG-88 amp/guitar modeler (and others). It basically uses a pickup for each string, so that each string can be processed separately.

Were you referring to the controls next to the tone/volume guitar knobs, or were you referring to the bridge? The Steinberger is a headless guitar, so the tuning controls are at the bottom of the body.
