English Mount for Gibson too small...
Got a question here... I got a set of TV Jones TV-HT's for my 2002 Ibanez Artcore AG75, and i also got the English mount, as the pu's in the Artcore is a standard humbucker size. But now to my amazement, the four screws of the Engslish mount is slightly smaller than that of the Artcores mounting screws. Any ideas what i can do to make the TV Jones English mounts to fit ? Many thanx to all

I just centered mine and made 4 new holes. The mounting itself covers the old holes.

LOL . . . yup, that is what i had to do too :x I really thought that the english mout would fit the Artcore, but i ended drilling new holes ! It looks OK, and sounds a million times 'better' than the boomy stock pu's ! Saying that, i transplanted the stock Artcore pu's into my project Epi LP, and it sounds real good in it ! :D

Yep my new pickups do sound purdy :D Beats the crap out of the old stock hummies hands down!!

interesting. I just ordered the EM 2 for the gretsch humbuckers. Anyone know if this sizing problem exists for the EM2? hate to think of drilling holes in my brand new guitar.

We copied a set of Gibson pickup rings for the EM-1 English mount pickup rings. The Asian rings may be a little different. The EM-2 English mount uses real Gretsch pickup surrounds. The mounting holes on a Gretsch surrounds are not the same hole pattern as a Gibson pickup ring. Drilling will be necessary. The pickup rings on the Gretsch 5120 are very different, drilling new mounting holes is necessary for the EM-1 and EM-2. Thanks, TV Jones
