Melancon Cajun Gentleman w/ two TV Jones pickups... Well, I went to NYC on 48th street and looked at all the beautiful guitars there - look for a thread covering that topic soon) but didn't pull the trigger.
Came back home with some money in my pocket, and started looking for something, if not unique, at least that would make me stop and go "I want that".
After some searching, I ended up with the finalists: an Anderson Atom, a Grosh HSS superstrat with killer quilt, and a Melancon Cajun Gentleman.
The latter won, and I just sent payment for it. Damn I am pumped! I have been wanting a Melancon forever, and finally got one. The CJ was the one I wanted all along, but I couldn't afford one. So this is one long case of GAS finally coming to a happy conclusion!
Still not sure how I am gonna pay for it - am I ever? - so that part is unresolved, but heck, she's worth it. Here are the pics from the seller:

That's a real eyecatcher. Even my daughter said wow when she saw it. You must be the luckiest guy in the guitar world.

Thanks. Yes, I feel lucky, though I put it up for sale recently due to the fact that the neck is thinner than what I personally like... but if she doesn't sell, it will be OK too :)
I have posted pics and videos of it here:
