p-90 vs. tv´s
I got this wonderful guitar epiphone es-295. Good looking guitar, great neck, easy to play on. But the stock epi´s p-90 dogear don´t sound good (to my ears) so I was thinking that´ll replace them with some Lollars or Gibson p-90´s. I have a epi wildcat and a Casino both with p-90´s in it and they sound beautiful. But wait a minute maybe it could be some Tv jones pu´s? Wondering how some magnatron pu´s will sound in the es-295? Is there a magnatron that will drop right in, instead of my p-90 dogear? I play through a peavey delta blues 115 and only uses very little distrortion (t-rex Moller) I play Rockabilly swing jump blues so what do you think? magnatron in a es-295, do you know anybody who has done that?
