Powertron/Powertron+ in a Dearmond M77-T
Has anyone done or heard this setup? I have ordered some p'trons and should have them soon. My Dearmond has nice bright clean sparkle with it's standard 2k single coils but they are too noisy and a bit thin when overdriven. I'm hoping the p'trons will give me that extra full growly overdriven chunk but maintain the brightness and sparkle of clean tone. I play mainly dynamic heavy rock. Will post a pic when done.

Don't worry will be able to tell you soon enough, my p'tron and p'tron+ arrived yesterday. Would like to praise TVJones for awesome service. Pickups were made exaclty to specs and appear very sturdy, supplied with clear installation instructions. They weigh almost 2 x my Dearmond 2k's - must be some heavy duty magnets in em. Time taken to ship from TVJones factory to East Australia - 2 days :D Time to ship from east Aus to West Aus 5 days :evil: Hopefully will have some pics and sounds soon. Thanx TVJones
