Similar to p-90 tone?
I know tv jones pickups are unique pickups based on vintage filtertrons for the most part, but I was wondering which pickup would be closest to a p-90 type tone? What I mean is which would have the fat, midrange, punchiness of a overwound p-90? My thinking was the powertron because of the extra midrange and the pickup being overwound, but the paf similarities causes me to think twice. Also the magnatron crossed my mind because of the single coil tendencies, but the twang factor makes me think it is more of a tele, dynasonic feel. I know if I want a p-90 sound I should buy a p-90, but just bringing up the topic for discussion and input. Thanks in advance for your responses!
