Spectra Sonic Gone?
I see the Spectra Sonic models have been removed from the Gretsch web site and price list. Oh no?!?!

yes, they remove this model. but imho these great guitars are still available at TV Jones`Shop.

Somehow I knew those guitars would be axed sooner than later. They just didn't come across as being very popular among Gretschites or the general public. 'Tis a shame.

That's because there's all new ones coming out, from Mr. Jones himself.

I was bummed when I saw that gretsch discontinued the spectra sonic because that was one model I have been pining for for about 2 or 3 years. I was going to get one this spring when I was out of the clear for tax season. I was happy to see some of my fellow spectra sonic fans had found some pics of a red and a grey/silver TV Jones spectra sonic does anyone know about when and how much the TV Jones brand Spectra Sonic Lead will be available? I'd love to have on in that red or black. Maybe there are a few rogue gretsch branded ones available? thanks

Here's a glipse of the new red one. This one was hand made by TV himself. The line will most likely be produced in a high-end factory available to the public in spring/summer(?) ...

I've seen pictures of that red one...and a grey one too. I'm kind of excited for the prospects of a red one... Anyone have info on who'll be making them now, I know Hamer and Gretsch have made them in the past, and an estimate on retail/street price? thanks

stage looks doesn't matter too much for me...ofcourse I'm also the guy in the crowd geeking or snobbing out when I see other bands play...haha. I think as I've sat and listen to other guys gush about these things the last couple years, it was finally time for me to get a ticket on to the bus :)
