TOTALLY BUMMED! I got home and found my new TV Classics waiting for me and my electromatci G5125. SO, I went and prepped the work station, took off the strings, pulled out the old pickups. When i went to measure up the new ones, I find that the mounting brackets are too long. The Previous pickups are th DeArmond 2000's.
I saw a post somewhere that someone updated a G5120 and had to put brackets onto the pickups. I have the reverse problem. I guess I'll be calling the shop tomorrow to find out my options.
Sigh...Looks like at least 3-5 more days till I can play on some new pickups.

How exactly do you mean the brackets are too long? If you're talking about the ears, they can be bent to where you need them.

Yes, I mean the ears.
I actually have wood mounts, so i think the only option is to cut the ears off, as I have seen done online, or send them back and get earless models.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the spaces allotted for the pickups are also too narrow for the pickups, looks like im goin to have to bust out the dremmel
