TV Jones plus a Gibson '57 Classic humbucker
A friend of mine is getting into guitar building and wants to make one for me. He has an old Gibson 57 humbucker that he's going to use and asked me what I wanted for the other pickup. I immediately thought of putting a TV Jones in the bridge and the Gibson in the neck. Has anyone ever tried this combination. The guitar is going to have an unusual shape but will probably be similar to a Gibson SG in terms of wood, weight, etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
