Which mounting is recomended for hagstrom viking

Either EM1 Mount (which gives you the filter'tron look inside a gibson ring *or* the Humbucker mount which would give you the stock humbucker look (you would use your outer ring from the Viking for this).

I would prefer the EM1 mounting - would the new pu rings fit the arch top shape ?

Alex,
The rings may conform to the top if the arching is moderate. If the top is really arched, you can scrape a slight radius on the bottom of the ring with a artist razor blade (one safe side).
