I have a 2006 Tennessee Rose with HiLoTron's. I'm thinking of replacing the neck PUP 'cause it's kinda lifeless & dull. While I'm at it I'd probably replace the bridge PUP as well.
How do the TV Jones HiLo's compare to the original Gretsch HiLo's?
Another question: would TV Jones Classics give me the George Harrison Tennessean sound on my Tennessee Rose?

Hi,
The reissue Gretsch Hilo'trons are not exactly like the original Hilo'trons. They use Filter'tron pole screws.
Our Hilo'trons use the original larger #8 headless pole screws (more inductance). Check out our sound clips.
They are very popular.
